ABOUT ANDRE MELGES

 

Since I was a little kid in Sao Paulo, Brazil, I remember been fascinated by stories of countless movies, from Jurassic Park to Star Wars and Blade Runner to Toy Story. Specially how much sound would help to elevate and immerse you more and more into the movie. Mixing that with my guitar learning and curiosity on how to record and produce a song, nothing more natural than follow the Studio path to work with post production audio.

 I enrolled in several courses to learn studio basics, Protools, Logic, recording, mix and master techniques to get me started on pursuing a career in the audio industry.

​

6 years ago I landed my first gig as a Sound Editor in a small audio post company for TV advertisement, where I started to learn by myself how all the audio elements are thought and build together to make the sound scape for a film.

​

Now I have worked in some of the greatest audio post companies in Brazil, making some of the biggest TV ads in the country and Latin America.
